These Terms & Conditions govern all plumbing services performed by Schrader Plumbing. By authorizing or signing for work, the customer agrees to the terms set forth below.
Schrader Plumbing values your property and takes pride in performing professional, workmanlike service. We strive for your complete satisfaction on every job.
The age, condition, and original installation methods of existing plumbing systems frequently present unforeseen obstacles during repair and replacement work. Pipes may be corroded, brittle, improperly supported, or installed in ways that no longer meet current code. Walls, floors, ceilings, and finishes routinely conceal conditions that cannot be evaluated until work is underway. By authorizing this work, the customer acknowledges that Schrader Plumbing cannot inspect or warrant the integrity of components that are not visible or accessible prior to the start of work.
Schrader Plumbing will not be responsible for damage to the existing structure, utilities, finishes, or personal property — including but not limited to floors, walls, ceilings, tile, carpet, cabinetry, landscaping, sprinkler systems, gas lines, or electrical lines, whether seen or unseen — that occurs as a direct or indirect result of any of the following:
The undersigned releases Schrader Plumbing, its owners, employees, and subcontractors from any and all liability for consequential, incidental, or indirect damages arising from the conditions described above.
The customer specifically acknowledges and accepts that draining and removing an existing water heater may result in residual water release, including potential flooding of adjacent areas; that moving or relocating refrigerators, dishwashers, washers, dryers, or other appliances to access plumbing may cause floor scratching, denting, or other cosmetic damage; and that older shut-off valves, supply lines, and connections may fail when operated or replaced. The customer’s signature on this document releases Schrader Plumbing from liability for any such damage.
The customer represents that they are the property owner or are otherwise authorized to approve plumbing work at the service address, and authorizes Schrader Plumbing to perform the work described on the accompanying invoice, work order, or estimate.
Estimates are based on the conditions visible at the time of inspection. If concealed conditions, code-required upgrades, or additional repairs are discovered during the course of work, Schrader Plumbing will notify the customer and obtain approval before performing the additional work. Approved additions will be billed at the agreed rate.
Payment is due in full upon completion of the work unless other arrangements have been made in writing. Returned checks are subject to a service fee. Past-due balances accrue interest at the maximum rate permitted by Texas law, and the customer agrees to pay reasonable attorneys’ fees and collection costs incurred in recovering any unpaid balance.
Schrader Plumbing warrants its labor against defects in workmanship for the period stated on the applicable invoice or estimate. Warranty terms vary based on the type of work performed and the specific service provided. Parts and equipment installed by Schrader Plumbing are covered under the applicable manufacturer’s warranty, which is passed through to the customer. In the event a manufacturer warranty claim becomes necessary, the customer acknowledges that labor to remove, replace, or reinstall the defective item is generally not covered by the manufacturer and may be billed separately to the customer at Schrader Plumbing’s standard rates.
This warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, freezing, acts of God, modifications by others, or pre-existing conditions, and is void if any work performed by Schrader Plumbing is altered or repaired by another party.
This warranty is in lieu of all other warranties, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
Where permits are required by the governing jurisdiction, the customer authorizes Schrader Plumbing to obtain them, and permit fees will be billed to the customer. Schrader Plumbing is licensed and insured in the State of Texas.
The customer agrees to provide reasonable access to the work area and to remove or secure valuables, fragile items, and pets prior to the technician’s arrival. Schrader Plumbing is not responsible for damage to items left in the immediate work area.
Trip charges may apply for missed appointments, service refused after dispatch, or service calls cancelled after the technician has been dispatched to the property.
The customer agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Schrader Plumbing, its owners, employees, and subcontractors from any claims arising out of pre-existing property conditions, the customer’s failure to disclose known defects, or the acts of third parties not under Schrader Plumbing’s control.
If any provision of these Terms & Conditions is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any dispute arising from this agreement shall be resolved in the courts of Tarrant County, Texas.
By authorizing work to be performed by Schrader Plumbing, the customer acknowledges that they have had the opportunity to review and have agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
